Cupcakes are tasteful at weddings. The large stands have replaced the cake. The expense is considerably less as well. Additional plates and forks are also eliminated. An accompanying napkin can be used to serve. In addition, the serving can be virtually effortless. No cake slicing or mess. Your celebrations finale will be smooth, simple, and finished nicely. You can even send home cupcakes as a favor. A great attribute to cupcake fame are the festive wrappers. Instead of foil or plain paper, they may now be color or theme coordinated. Finally, how do you produce the perfect cupcake? Unsure there is one answer. Go with your own personality or favorite flavor. Select a theme, or color, and let your creative baking begin.
If you’re going to decorate your cupcakes, make sure they have cooled completely. Warm cupcakes can melt your decorations or icing and give them an amateur look. The sky is the limit when decorating your cupcakes. Multi-colored sprinkles or dressage give a festive look without taking much time. Use your imagination and let your creative juices flow when decorating. You may surprise yourself. With these tips as your trusty companions in cupcakes baking, your cupcakes are pretty much guaranteed to improve. Practice makes perfect, so make plenty of cupcakes to test these tips out. It will all be because you’re on a quest to bake the perfect cupcake, of course. Cupcakes are really popular these days so knowing how to bake and decorate your delicious cupcakes will give you star status with your friends and family!
A game that all children love is " Pin the Cherry on the Cupcake ". You can buy fabric versions of the cupcake party game, but I always love a home-made copy that the children can help decorate. Draw a large cupcake on a sheet of large paper and decorate with lots of color and sparkles. This is a fun game and perfect for your cupcake theme party. I always find my children love coloring the cupcake as much as they like playing the game. Decorating the game could also become a party activity. When you want to keep the little guests occupied, get them to frost and decorate their own cupcakes. Make a batch of cupcakes, have bowls of different coloured frosting and a variety of sprinkles, candies and edible toppers and let the kids go wild! They can either eat their cupcake immediately or take it home with them. If you are planning to serve cupcakes as the birthday cake and don’t want to decorate them as a party game as well, make cookies in a cupcake shape (using a cupcake cookie cutter) and the children can decorate them instead. My children love painting plaster shapes. Cupcake shaped moulds are readily available, so make up some shapes prior to the party and let the children paint. Supply acrylic paints and have a range of glitter, beads, sequins etc to adhere to their faux cupcakes. My daughter and her friends love painting these and the finished results look spectacular and are really individual.
Here a few of my special tips for making kids cupcakes for toddlers: 1. Make it sweet. Toddlers have a huge sweet tooth. I know this because my daughter has no problem eating two ice-cream cones- one in each hand! Don’t serve toddlers lemon or carrot cake flavored cupcakes; they may not eat them! Chocolate or vanilla is your best bet for kids cupcakes. 2. Buy special decorating tools. The more tubes and tips you have, the more designs you can make! A basic cupcake and cake decorating set will allow you to make hundreds of different designs. Decorating tools will allow you to make some really fun kids cupcakes that your toddlers will love. You can find decorating tools online or at your local craft store. 3. Use lots of color! Toddlers love everything about color; they love to color and they love to eat anything that is colorful! For instance, have you ever noticed how much kids love Lucky Charms? Guess what their favorite part of the cereal is; the colored marshmallows, of course! If I make a few different colored cupcakes, it seems my toddler always goes for the ones with the most vibrant colored frosting. 4. Remember, toddlers love texture! If you add some kind of candies to your kids cupcakes, there is no way any toddler will leave your side. A yummy cupcake with delicious looking frosting will probably make your cupcakes compelling enough to eat, but the ultimate way to hook your picky eater is to add candies. These rules are not only useful for baking kids cupcakes your toddler will love. Follow my rules and you will have an arsenal of tools and a variety of candies on hand for whatever baking adventure you pursue! Melody A enjoys baking cupcakes, cakes and party planning.
